Creating and Applying Locations in Your Storyboard

Creating locations allows you to set the background for AI-generated images in your storyboard.

  1. In the left-side menu, navigate to Locations.
  2. Click Add Location.
  3. Enter the label and description for the location. The description acts as the AI prompt for generating the background.
  4. To achieve the best results, use a prompt that is clear and precise. Avoid vague language, but also steer clear of overly complex phrasing that might confuse the AI.
  5. Click Submit to save the location.
  6. Repeat these steps to create additional locations.

Applying Locations in Your Storyboard:

  1. In the left-side menu, go to Storyboards.
  2. Open the storyboard where you want to use the locations.
  3. Proceed to the Storyboard tab and click the edit button for the relevant shot.
  4. You will be redirected to the frame view for the shot
  5. In the Details tab, choose your created location from the Locations drop-down.
  6. You may remove the background description from the main action prompt, as the location field will now define it. If you choose to keep the background details in the prompt, make sure they do not contradict the selected location, as this can lead to confusing results.
