Overview of StoryboardHero’s Credit System
StoryboardHero’s credit system is structured to charge users based on the features they use in storyboard creation. Only certain features – such as generating a premium character or a premium image – requires a specific number of credits.
Credits are deducted immediately upon completing an action, providing real-time visibility into usage. This approach ensures you only pay for the features you choose, making storyboard production both flexible and cost-effective.

Example Scenario
Let’s walk through an example to illustrate credit usage:
You create a 10-shots storyboard using a mix of standard and premium AI-generated images, one premium character and one standard character. You will export the storyboard as a PDF and as video. In the video you want to add a Standard AI Voice.
- AI Concept Generation: 0 credit
- Standard AI Voice: A 30-second voiceover is created = 0 credit
- AI Image Generation: 10 images are generated.
- 5 premium images x 1 = 5 credits
- 5 standard images x 0 = 0 credit
- Regenerate AI Image: 2 images regenerated
- 1 premium image x 1 = 1 credit
- 1 standard image x 0 = 0 credit
- Character Generation: 2 characters generated
